To provide good services at acceptable prices and subject to free and fair competition – that is RWE’s mission in a nutshell. We want our transparent conduct and integrity to reassure our customers and suppliers that their confidence in us is well placed.
RWE is committed to free and fair competition and conducts itself accordingly. We participate in public debate, presenting our standpoints and our experience in a way that is both transparent and trustworthy.
Like other energy suppliers, RWE has had to raise its electricity and gas prices several times just recently. Customers and the public at large have criticised us for this, although we have always been able to prove that our pricing is based on developments on the energy market.
While our core business is electricity and gas, we also provide services and help our customers use energy more efficiently and so lower their costs.
Fiercer competition makes it important for us to win more customers. We are therefore constantly adding to our range of add-on services.
Environmental factors and fair working conditions are now factored into our selection criteria in procurement as well. This is a process we intend to continue in the coming years.
