By the way: What makes RWE so special?

As an RWE employee, what opportunities do I have to develop and advance my career?

In all career phases we analyse and develop our employees' potential and foster their skills with individual programmes. In addition, there's a broadly faceted training programme that keeps our employees up to date both technically and business-wise. To make our expectations of our employees transparent, we’ve defined the specific requirements that we feel you should meet.

If I decide for RWE, what social benefits can I rely on?

We offer our employees a whole range of social benefits that meet their very different needs. At our Essen location, we even offer crèche places for toddlers at our company kindergarten "Krokofant". What's the pay like?

Here we're talking about a really key issue when it comes to working together: The salary. You can in any event expect an attractive base salary. But more than that: Because we also reward know-how and commitment in monetary terms. Hence you can improve your finances by really getting down to work and earning variable remuneration components, which are calculated based on specific goals agreed in advance.

What opportunities do I have as a graduate?

You can join RWE as a Trainee (m/f). Our individual regional companies can offer many interesting fields of work. If your degree is above average, you also have the opportunity to join our Group-wide International Graduate Programme. And you're also welcome to join us as a direct entrant (m/f).

What opportunities do I have as a direct entrant with job experience?

Very good ones. Because people that have already achieved a lot in their job, know what it's all about and like to take on new challenges are welcome here at any time. That applies especially to our operating company RWE Power, which is looking for experienced engineers (m/f).

Can I apply to RWE with my Bachelor's degree too?

Of course. We supported the transformation in the German university system from an early stage and also took part in the "Bachelor Welcome" initiative. That shows how open we are to the new Bachelor's and Master's degrees. In any event you should clearly set out your majoring field as the new degrees offer abundant interesting variations.
