How do I apply to RWE?

You can send us unsolicited applications by registering in the RWE Applicant Pool. Anyone interested in joining the RWE Group can register here.

In the RWE Applicant Pool you can send us your profile. Should an appropriate vacancy come up, we can access your application and make contact with you if you're an interesting candidate. If you should not be available at any time, perhaps because you're abroad, you can also block your profile temporarily and then reactivate it again later.

After we've received you’re application (electronically or by post), our personnel department and the business department concerned will check it carefully. If you've awoken our interest, we'll invite you to an assessment centre or a personal interview.

Things you should know before starting your career online.

1. What do I need to watch out for when filling in the RWE Application Wizard?

Please take enough time to fill in the online application form. Answer all questions in full and in detail. The mandatory fields are marked by a small asterisk. We can view your application and consider it only after you have sent it to us.

2. Can I interrupt my application and go back to it later?

You can log in at any time with the help of your login data and update your information. Even with a current application, your changes will be accounted for immediately.

3. How do I know you received my application?

After you've sent your application, you will receive a confirmation of receipt to the e-mail indicated.

4. What documents should I enclose with or attach to my application?

Apart from the fully completed online application form, we need a letter, a CV and your school certificates and references. Please enclose these as attachments and upload them via the electronic application system - the so-called RWE Application Wizard.

5. How and when will you contact me?

The first thing you'll receive is a confirmation of receipt. In the case of an application for an advertised position, we will send you feedback after reviewing your documents. With a general registration in the RWE Applicant Pool (unsolicited application) we will only contact you if your profile fits an available position.

6. Can I apply again after a refusal or apply for several jobs at the same time?

You can activate your profile for multiple vacancies, i.e. you can also apply in parallel.

Technical Requirements

1. In what formats and in what file size can I upload documents?

You can upload files in the .doc, .txt, .ppt, .pdf, .tif, .gif, .bmp, .jpg, and .html formats. We prefer documents in PDF format. Unfortunately, file formats not listed here, including zip files, cannot be processed. The attachments must not exceed a total size of 5 MB

2. How secure are my data?

All data protection regulations are complied with. In agreement with our Data Protection Officer, we have implemented an authorisations and data protection concept. Your data is accessible only by authorised persons and will be treated confidentially. Under the header "Data Protection Statement" in the RWE Application Wizard, you’ll find more information on the subject of data protection.

3. How long will my data be stored for?

If you register online your data will be stored on our system for as long as you wish. If you have not accessed your account within a period of 6 months, you will receive a notification that your entries will be deleted unless you reactivate the area. You can also delete your profile and account yourself at any time in the login area.

But however you apply (online registration or direct job application for a position) your data will be collected, processed and used according to the aforementioned data protection statement.

4. Which browsers are supported?

The system has been optimised for Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0:

5. How can I download Acrobat Reader?

Some information is presented to you in PDF format. To view the data correctly you will need a current version of Acrobat Reader.
