As a successful company we regard it as our duty to engage in the arts, culture, sports and social areas. A high priority here is vocational qualification and social integration of young people.

The best example of this is our support for the "MUS-E" programme of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation, Germany. This involves a pan-European programme for primary schools in socially deprived areas. In cooperation with selected artists, it strengthens the personality of children, awakes their creativity and fosters their social competencies. As the main private sponsor, RWE is supporting the "MUS-E" programme with €255,000 per year until 2008.
