Community Benefits consultation

Independent Community Benefits Consultation Exercise

Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm Limited, through independent market research company Cogent, is seeking your views on how £19 million of community funding should be allocated across North Wales.

The funds, £768,000 per year, index linked to inflation, will become available once the 160 turbine wind farm is fully operational in 2014.

The aim of this consultation exercise is to gather your honest opinions about your community's key priorities, how the fund should be run, who it should help, which geographical areas it should cover, what type of projects would qualify for funding and who you would like to see making decisions about funding applications.

This is your opportunity to have your say about how this funding could support the long term sustainable development of North Wales.

The study runs from 15th December until 13th February 2012. You can take part in the following ways:-

  • Online using the electronic bilingual questionnaire which will be live from 15th December 2011 to 13th February 2012 at www.gwyntymor-consultation.com
