Geodata Coordinator

Main tasks:

• Set-up, fill and administrate reference and regional data projects regarding geoscience data, geoscience interpretation and reservoir modeling.

• Project data management (GeoFrame, Petrel)

  • Well data management
  • Seismic and interpretation data management
  • Cultural and other geoscience data handling
• Data migration tasks
• Data exchange and scouting tasks
• Petrobank usage/administration
• GIS (Geographic Information System)
• Coordinator and contact person for head quarter data management projects. 

Qualifications:

• Geosciences, Engineering or Information Technology degree
• At least 5 years professional experience including 2 years Oil and Gas (E&P) industry experience.
• Experience working in an applications, data management and infrastructure support operation environment would be expected
• High degree of communications skills – both written and verbal
• Problem identification and analysis skills
• Proactive and service-minded
• Teamwork skills.

Preferences

• Good understanding of IT systems and applications around Data Management environment
• Project Management skills
• Understanding of Norwegian E&P domain
