RWE AG is the most innovative company among all of Europe’s energy suppliers. This is the result of an innovation index study prepared by the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT).
For the innovation index, the research activities, productivity and sustainability of the 15 largest energy suppliers in Europe were examined and rated. In the rating, patents played an important role – and in this respect, RWE scored particularly well. The company covers 14 of the 15 research fields taken as a yardstick by ESMT, which is significantly more than any of its competitors.
