Dieksand Land Station

To control noise emissions, some of the facilities used for oil processing, such as compressors and pumps, are housed inside process buildings.

The gas separated when crude oil is processed is fed into compressors, from where it is pumped to a gas dehydration plant and on to Brunsbüttel by gas pipeline.

The flat-bottomed tanks at the Dieksand Land Station are fitted with a circular collar in the form of a double-bottomed concrete collecting basin. After secondary purification, the crude is pumped into the pipeline to Brunsbüttel.

The crude is processed in separators at the Dieksand Land Station ready for refining and then transported to Brunsbüttel by pipeline for delivery to customers.

The entire operations of the Land Station are constantly monitored by specialist personnel located in the control station. The operations buildings also contain offices, sanitary facilities, a fire-fighting station and central heating unit as well as workshops, laboratory and storage facilities.
