InfoPoint

The InfoPoint located in Deichpassage, Friedrichskoog-Spitze will be open again from March 27, 2010.

Geologist Günter Wangerin will be there until September 5 on behalf of the operator, RWE Dea, and its partner, Wintershall to provide information on oil production from Germany's largest oil field. Mr. Wangerin explains to visitors the concept for oil production in the sensitive Wattermeer tidelands on a computer screen and by means of illustrative graphics.

The InfoPoint be open from Thursdays to Sundays from 2 to 5 PM. In the summer from July 15 until August 22 the InfoPoint will be open for one additional hour daily (2 to 6 PM).
