Bodelwyddan Castle Trust secure windfarm windfall

Bodelwyddan Castle Trust has been awarded £5915.70 from the Gwynt y Môr Wind Farm Community Fund which is a direct result of the partnership between RWE Innogy, Stadtkwerke Munchen, Siemens and the Green Investment Bank. The fund will provide more than £19 million to communities in the coastal areas of Conwy, Denbighshire and Flintshire throughout the lifetime of the project. Bodelwyddan Castle Trust are one of the latest awardees of the fund which will be making annual payments of £768,000.more

Communities across North Wales are cashing in on the latest Gwynt y Môr Wind Farm wind fall.

A further £58,595 from the wind farm’s community fund will be awarded to 12 not-for-profit groups based in coastal areas of Conwy, Denbighshire and Flintshire.
