Our Biomass Power Stations

Biomass power stations generate electricity from biomass in all three states - solid, liquid and gas. ‘Biomass’ refers to substances of organic origin such as wood.
The electrical efficiency rating of biomass power stations using conventional technology is between 30 and 35 percent. This is why biomass power stations are often used for combined heat and power generation which can then result in higher efficiency ratings.
