RWE is making e-mobility suitable for daily use. To this end, RWE has developed an intelligent infrastructure and begun setting it up. The objective is a comprehensive network of charging points combined with an innovative billing system for fast and uncomplicated charging anytime, anywhere. Powered by green electricity produced by RWE, electric cars are virtually CO₂-free. RWE is testing customer acceptance and the systems used for billing and network control in pilot projects carried out in conjunction with Daimler and Renault in Berlin and NRW.
