Factbook Renewable Energy
Renewables are one of the cornerstones of RWE’s future strategy. Established in February 2008, RWE Innogy bundles the renewable activities and competencies across the Group.
The company is starting with a strong diversified position as well as a significant and realizable project pipeline. Key objective is profitable growth. RWE Innogy aims to more than triple its installed capacity to 4.5 GW by 2012 and exceed 10 GW by 2020. On average at least € 1 bn p.a. will be invested from 2008 onwards.
