Our commitment to health and safety

TSG Ferrybridge is committed to ensuring the health, safety and well being of its staff, members of the public and any other who may be affected by its business. In order to do this, TSG Ferrybridge has adopted a Safety Management System based on HSG65, Successful Health and Safety Management, produced by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

All outage management and site projects are carried out in compliance with the Construction, Design and Management Regulations (2007 - CDM) where communication, co-operation and co-ordination of all contractor activities will take priority to ensure a safe and successful outage.

Additionally, all work will be carried out in accordance with RWE npower Safety Policies and Rules and other appropriate Health and Safety legislation and Codes of Practice. All TSG Ferrybridge personnel undertake a site induction relative to the station on arrival and sign to confirm their understanding and receipt of the information given in the Induction.All TSG Ferrybridge site personnel have taken part in the "Client/Contractor National Safety Training Initiative" and have successfully obtained their "Safety Passport" confirming their understanding of current safety issues relating to the power generation industry.
