Directions

By air

The nearest airports are Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Frankfurt

From Cologne Airport:

• From Cologne Airport either take a taxi (approx 40 minutes)

  Or

• Use the A59 motorway towards ‘Düsseldorf’
• Continue straight onto the A559 motorway towards ‘Köln’ at the Köln-Porz Interchange
• Take the A4 motorway towards ‘Aachen’ at the Gremberg Interchange
• Take the A1 motorway towards ‘Koblenz’ at the Köln West Interchange and immediately take the Frechen exit
• Turn left onto the Dürener Strasse towards ‘Köln’ and follow to the RWE Power office

From Düsseldorf Airport:

• From Düsseldorf Airport take a taxi (approx 1 hour)

  Or

• Drive (approx 1 hour) onto the A44 motorway towards ‘Oberhausen’, ‘Frankfurt’, ‘Essen’
• Continue through the interchange with the A52 motorway, and take the A3 motorway towards ‘Frankfurt’, ‘Köln’ at the Ratingen-Ost  interchange
• Take the A1 motorway towards ‘Köln’, ‘Aachen’ at the Leverkusen Interchange and follow the A1 motorway to the Frechen exit
  

From Frankfurt Airport:

• From Frankfurt Airport take the high-speed ICE train to Cologne Central Station, and from there take a taxi (approx 1.5 hours)

  Or

• Use the A3 motorway (approx 2 hours) towards ‘Köln’
• Take the A4 motorway towards ‘Aachen’ at the Heumar Interchange
• Then follow the same instructions as from Cologne Airport

By road

Directions from the North:

• Use the A3 motorway towards ‘Frankfurt’, ‘Köln’ to the Leverkusen interchange
• Follow directions as from Düsseldorf Airport

Directions from the Northeast:

• Use the A1 motorway towards ‘Köln’
• After the Leverkusen Interchange follow the directions as from Düsseldorf Airport

Directions from the West:

• Use the A4 motorway towards ‘Köln’
• At the Köln West Interchange turn onto the A1 towards ‘Koblenz’ and then immediately take the Frechen exit
• Follow directions as from Cologne Airport

Directions from the Southwest:

• Use the A61 motorway north towards ‘Köln’, continuing on the A1 motorway towards Köln at the Erfttal interchange
• Take the Frechen exit, turn right onto Dürener Strasse and follow to the RWE Power office

Directions from the Southeast:

• Use the A3 motorway from Frankfurt to Köln
• Follow the same directions as from Frankfurt Airport

By rail

• Take a train to Köln central station
• From there take a taxi (same as directions from Frankfurt Airport)

By public transport

• The RWE Power office is 5 minutes walk away from the tram-stop Stüttgenhof (Tram line 7: Porz-Zündorf-Neumarkt-Frechen)
