RWE IT UK was launched in April 2007, originally RWE Systems UK - part of RWE Systems AG. This was in response to the need for a dedicated  IT service supplier, focusing on optimising costs and improving service quality for RWE npower and RWE Supply & Trading.  As a subsidiary of RWE IT GmbH, RWE IT UK also forms part of a Group-wide IS community, pooling together knowledge and expertise for the benefit of the overall RWE Group.
 
Being an internal supplier, RWE IT UK is challenged to provide the best possible services at market-comparable prices. They work in partnership with BPM & IS (Business Process Methodology and Information Systems) and the business to deliver reliable solutions and meet the needs of the business.
 
As part of a growing pan-European organisation, RWE IT UK looks to share best practice and introduce common solutions across RWE Group wherever appropriate. With a united vision and set of values for all of RWE IT, strengthening brand, identity and service delivery with our European colleagues is a key priority. This means that, when our customers change/adapt their strategy, business processes or need an innovative new IT solution, that change must be absorbed into RWE IT.
