Corporate Responsibility Committee
We believe that commitment from senior management is essential to embed responsible business practices into the decision making process. Our Board-level Corporate Responsibility (CR) committee includes representatives from all business units and our four company directors. It is independently chaired by Dame Julia Cleverdon DCVO, CBE, and includes representatives from RWE npower renewables and from RWE AG.
The CR committee provides a forum to:-
- establish and review progress against annual CR targets
- provide updates on key CR issues at RWE npower level, and on CR issues being addressed by RWE AG
- review material issues such as customer service and complaint management, measures to reduce carbon emissions and community investment strategy and employee engagement
scope and approve new CR programmes
