Apprentice scheme
Our apprenticeships are designed to discover and develop the craftspeople, technicians and engineers of tomorrow.
Our apprentices get structured training in core engineering areas over four years. Our scheme, one of the best in the UK, not only enables our apprentices to attain qualifications, but also provides opportunities for hands on experience.
The four year programme helps our apprentices to become highly skilled craftspeople, technicians or engineers in one of three core technical disciplines:
- Mechanical engineering
- Electrical engineering
- Process control and instrumentation
Ofsted has given our apprentice programme a Grade 1 mark, with an “outstanding” rating for the overall effectiveness of the scheme.
