Improving health

Improving the health of our local communities is one of the three foundations of our community work, along with enhancing education and protecting the environment.

We run an award-winning Health Through Warmth (HTW) scheme. This gives help to vulnerable people living in cold, damp homes. Since 2000, we've accessed over £59 million, helping to improve levels of warmth, comfort and quality of life for vulnerable people whose health is make worse by cold and damp living conditions.

We partner Macmillan Cancer Support. For the last six years, RWE npower employees have chosen Macmillan Cancer Support as our charity partner. Our partnership is now valued at over £5 million.
