We are responding to the growing demand for energy efficiency solutions from both our business and residential customers. Energy efficiency can help our customers to reduce their energy bills and their carbon footprint. Our approach is to enthuse and empower all our customers – first by showing them what solutions are on offer to help them cut emissions and reduce their bills, then by helping them find the right ones for them. From a business point of view, offering these services is a real opportunity to grow and it will shape the future of our business for many years to come.
Our Energy Services business pools our expert knowledge and provides market-leading energy services to our business and residential customers. By doing so, we encourage customers to rethink the way they use energy.
The Government’s Carbon Emissions Reduction Target (CERT) sets energy-saving targets for each energy supplier based on the number of customers it has. We’re also working with the Government on the Community Energy Savings Programme (CESP), which focuses on community-based energy efficiency solutions.
