Renewable energy tariffs
We offer our residential customers the choice of two different renewable energy products – Juice and National Trust Green Energy - both of which are accredited under the Green Energy Supply Certification Scheme. We also supply renewable energy to a number of our business customers including Marks and Spencer.
Juice – Through Juice, we monitor every unit of normal electricity used and feed the same amount, generated from renewable sources, into the electricity network*. Since it was established in 2001, Juice has been generated from a number of renewable energy sources, primarily at North Hoyle Offshore Wind Farm.
National Trust Green Energy – Every time someone switches to National Trust Green Energy, we make a contribution to the National Trust Green Fund, which invests in low and zero carbon initiatives at National Trust properties in Great Britain, namely micro and small scale renewable projects.

* npower will estimate a customer's Juice energy consumption throughout the year until year end when we check your annual consumption data and ensure the correct amount of renewable energy has been purchased to cover the customer's annual consumption.
