Storage services include physical access to the natural gas storage facilities. We offer standard products at fixed prices provided that there are spare capacities for the period requested and subject to technical constraints:

• Storage capacities in the form of storage bundles consisting of working gas volume, injection capacity and withdrawal capacity in a fixed proportion,
• Storage connection capacities on the storage facilities' pipelines connecting to the adjacent transportation networks. If several connections of a storage facility are available we will provide you with capacities on the storage connections of your choice.

Storage products deviating from the standard products are offered on a negotiated basis.

You have the possibility to not only use capacities for your own gas quantities but also for the quantities of third parties. Moreover, on request you are also able to sell your capacity rights to third parties, provided that the third party is financially reliable, creditworthy and acknowledges that all your existing obligations towards us are transferred to it, and that RWE Gasspeicher GmbH agrees.

When injecting and withdrawing gas, we take and deliver the gas at the boundary of the relevant storage facility. For transportation to/from the storage facility, the respective network operators offer you transportation services. If you are interested, please send a request to the respective network operator.

Services

We provide the storage services for our storage customers, required for accessing our natural gas storage facilities. This includes receiving and confirming nominations and renominations, measuring and allocation of injection and withdrawal, documenting the measurement results, billing, invoicing and invoice checking as well as the handling of all fiscal administration tasks associated with gas injection and withdrawal.
