Plant safety

To drill for and produce gas and oil, RWE Dea operates a wide variety of facilities subject to varying degrees of potential hazards. Based on risk considerations, the measures required for safe and troublefree operation of the facilities are laid down to ensure that employees or any other individuals are not endangered and that harmful impacts on the environment are avoided. In operation, the plant and equipment is controlled, maintained and monitored using sophisticated technology. In addition, in the unlikely event of a disruption of operations, detailed emergency plans are in place.
