Dr Frank Weigand

Dr Frank Weigand was appointed as Chief Financial Officer, RWE npower in January 2010.  Prior to this, he was Head of Group Controlling at RWE AG.

Frank joined RWE in 2001 as Vice President Strategy at RWE Systems and from 2005 to 2006 he was Head of Controlling at RWE Power.

Before joining RWE, Frank held senior positions with management consultants McKinsey & Company, both in Germany and overseas.  He was serving energy intensive clients in the basic materials sector on operational, organisational and strategic issues.  Frank was in the leadership group of McKinsey’s “Electric Power and Natural Gas”, “Cement” and “Operations” practices.
