Traffic Management Plan

Information for local residents

The Traffic Management Plan for Kiln Pit Hill Wind Farm was created to have a plan to managing the movement of construction traffic associated with the wind farm.  It aims to minimise the effects of traffic travelling to and from the site during the construction period of the wind farm.

The Traffic Management Plan was submitted to the Local Planning Authority (LPA) and the final version is available to view by clicking the links to the right hand side of this page.

The plan has gained support from the LPA as a result of the extensive detail contained. It has been suggested it may well be used as the blue print by Northumberland County Council in guiding other organisations for future.
