Nordsee Ost

Sites

We are planning to construct the Nordsee Ost (NSO) offshore wind farm around 30 kilometres to the north-east of the island of Helgoland in the German North Sea region. With 48 multi-megawatt wind turbines, each with a rated output of 6.15 megawatts, the wind farm will, upon completion, have a total output of around 295 megawatts. Operation of the first wind turbines, constructed in water depths of up to 25 metres, should commence in the third quarter of 2012. The whole offshore wind farm is set to commence operating in 2013.

Further information of the Nordsee Ost wind farm is available on our webside: www.rwenordseeost.com.
