Sport sponsorship at RWE doesn’t only mean boosting brand awareness, it is also about helping out the local community by focusing involvement. In additional to conventional jersey sponsorship, RWE also concentrates on the social aspects of sporting activities. Youth work as well as the promotion of regional sports and clubs are thus a major focus. The football emphasis, moreover, is supplemented by countless regional activities at home and abroad: in addition to its sponsorship of the Rot-Weiss-Essen football club, RWE also supports the Cricket Series and the Football League in England.
