FarbEcht

The integrated art project "FarbEcht" , based in Essen, is a project of the Disabled Department of the local Protestant Church. Able-bodied people regularly meet with the disabled members of the group to paint together. The pictures produced in the workshops have been exhibited on numerous occasions.

The project has been cooperating with the RWE Youth Foundation for many years and is directly supported by RWE AG since the beginning of 2005. This already proofed to be a cooperation with visible success: Twice, pictures from the project group have been displayed at private art views at the RWE Tower.

The works for those exhibitions originated from cooperation with the artists Thomas Böing and Beat Streuli. Each of them visited FarbEcht for an entire evening of creativity as part of their exhibitions at the RWE Tower. A continuation of this extremely productive cooperation is planned. RWE's efforts to combine sponsorship activities with corporate responsibility and commitment are particularly reflected in its cooperation with "FarbEcht."
