Offshore logistics
The Offshore Logistics Company (OLC) GmbH is a provider of planning and construction services for installation of offshore wind farms. The spectrum of the company’s activities ranges from development of installation concepts, preparation, mobilisation and execution of port facilities, ships, logistics and engineering services surrounding the construction of offshore wind farms.
OLC is a subsidiary of RWE Innogy GmbH, one of the biggest investors in offshore wind power in Europe. On behalf of RWE Innogy, OLC is presently engaged in the building of the wind farms “Nordsee Ost” (295 megawatts) off the German coast and “Gwynt y Môr” (576 megawatts) off the coast of Wales in the UK. For that purpose, OLC operates two of the most modern installation vessels of the Seabreeze class.
