Worthy Doesn’t Always Mean Eligible

The Foundation gives priority to partners who

• are related directly or indirectly to the core field of business of RWE, i.e. energy and power engineering
• are oriented in an interdisciplinary manner
• can serve as a role model to other projects

Funding is only provided for a limited period of time. The purpose of the funding is to explore new concepts and ideas and to fill these with life and energy. The projects should be able to support themselves or be funded further by other institutions, states or local authorities later on. In exceptional and reasonable cases, subsequent funding may be possible for partners that have already received funding, for instance for the purpose of interim financing.
