Stassfurt
The Stassfurt gas storage facility in southern Saxony-Anhalt is a salt cavern and presently has a working gas volume of about 0.3 billion m³. The facility is connected to the transportation grid of ONTRAS and the distribution grid of Mitgas Verteilnetz GmbH in the Gaspool market area. The current expansion of the facility will add another 0.5 billion m³ to its volume.
