In line with the Offshore Petroleum Production and Pipelines (Assessment of Environmental Effects) Regulations 1999, certain RWE Dea UK offshore development activities require an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) to be undertaken. A public consultation period forms part of the EIA process. The public consultation period associated with each proposed development is 28 days.
Awareness of the public availability of the Environmental Statement associated with each development is raised via notices placed in the UK national press (The Guardian and two local papers), the website of The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, and the website of RWE Dea UK (see below).
The below links provide access to the Environmental Statements prepared in association with each of the fields developed by RWE Dea UK as well as a link to the current annual Environmental Report.
