Those wishing to find out more about art, culture, correlations in the natural world, or our climate don’t necessarily have to wade through hefty tomes. A visit to a museum can deepen knowledge and offer fascinating insights. RWE supports museums in the region as part of its policy of cultural sponsorship. Sometimes the focus is on financing a new exhibition space, sometimes on a pattern of regular cooperation spanning several years.

And RWE also runs its own museums – such as the Electricity and Life Museum in the Recklinghausen substation. The Group uses this venue specifically to present topics with an energy and environmental slant.
