Procurement in the RWE Innogy Group

Procurement at RWE Innogy is responsible for all procurement activities in the national and international sphere within the RWE Innogy Group, i.e. RWE Innogy GmbH and all consolidated subsidiaries. RWE Innogy coordinates the procurement activities in the areas of wind energy (on- and offshore), biomass, hydropower and new technologies in Germany, U.K., the Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy and Spain.

Through effective and efficient procurement processes and methods, through current and sound market knowledge, as a competent specialist in the procurement area and by concentrating on the best and most capable suppliers, we support the RWE Innogy Group in achieving its goals and thus contribute to the company’s success, whilst also realising perceptible competitive advantages in the future too.

We also regard ourselves as the interface between the external stakeholders (mainly suppliers) and the internal customers (users). Regular communication and close cooperation are the key factors crucial to its success.

Our goal is to further develop our portfolio of high-performance suppliers and to pick out the best suppliers worldwide.
