Future made by RWE - Fuel Cells
Although centralized energy production will remain the key pillar in future energy supply, it can be effectively complemented by other types of electricity and heat production. According to current forecasts, distributed generation will play an increasingly important role in the decades to come. Among other technologies, fuel cells can here make a contribution. Fuel cells are combined heat and power (CHP) systems using finite fossil resources most efficiently and thereby providing opportunities for environment-friendly power generation. For this reason, RWE Fuel Cells is testing applications of this technology in stationary electricity and heat generation.
