Our Company Integrated Management System (CIMS), which is based on a set of international standards, has been deployed as a central management tool in all operational facilities and divisions of the Company. A program of internal audits and intensive training courses was implemented to allow the entire staff to become familiar with the system. The system is designed to provide practical support with the occupational health and safety, environmental protection and quality management aspects of everyday tasks.

Thanks to this preliminary work, an external audit conducted by DNV Zertifizierung und Umweltgutachter GmbH resulted in the award of certification for the relevant international standards: OHSAS 18001, DIN EN ISO 14001 and DIN EN ISO 9001.

The German Building Materials – Stone – Earth section of the Raw Materials and Chemical Industry Trade Association (Berufsgenossenschaft Rohstoffe und chemische Industrie - BG RCI) has repeatedly awarded the “Systematic Safety” quality seal to RWE Dea.

Continued and consistent application of the CIMS will result in sustained improvements and a higher level of safety, environmental protection and quality.
