Internship Geoscientist

Right from the start, you will be a part of our team in our Hamburg office, or you will be integrated into the team at our laboratory in Wietze. You will be involved in daily operations, work on projects and given a chance to prove that you are able to live up to these kinds of demands and challenges.

Internship Petroleum Engineer

Right from the start, you will be part of our team in Hamburg or one of our facilities in Holstein, Lower Saxony or Bavaria and will learn all about the daily operations.

Students enrolled in Master Program Petroleum Engineering have the possibility to work as an assistant floor-hand in shift operation on our rig in Lower Saxony.

Internship Corporate Communications

Participate in the communications work in an international company

You will be supporting our Hamburg team in their external and internal communications activities in support of our natural gas and oil exploration, production and storage operations. You will experience the use of different types of media, organise events or participate in the development of communications concepts. In this way, you will learn about the practical use of different communications tools and gain experience in how to use the right tools for different situations, as part of an overall communications concept. You will be able to contribute and implement your own know-how and ideas to ongoing projects.

Who should apply?

Students enrolled in communications science, journalism or economics

How much time should you set aside for your internship?

Eight weeks at least

Candidates must:

  • have proficiency in operating all common Microsoft Office products, as well as proficiency in spoken and written English
  • have basic skills in journalistic writing and the design and development of communications activities
  • be able to work independently and with a consistent focus on quality and objectives
  • find it easy to fit in and work as part of a team, like interacting with others and be friendly, flexible and able to work under pressure.

Practical experience gained in internships or communications activities undertaken as a student (in editorial offices, agency, institutions or businesses) are considered an advantage.
