Is remuneration offered for an internship by RWE Dea?
Yes, we pay attractive remuneration that also takes into account accommodation costs.

How many internship positions are awarded by RWE Dea per year?
We offer up to 50 students the opportunity of an internship per year. As a result of the multitude of enquiries, it is unfortunately not possible to offer a position to all applicants.

When should I apply for an internship or a thesis at RWE Dea?
We select interns twice a year: during the period from December to the end of March we collect applications for an internship during the semester break; during the period from April to November for an internship after the winter semester.

For a thesis please apply till March 31, if you wish to start your thesis between June and January. If you wish to start your thesis between February and May closing date for your application is November 30.

Is an internship at one of your overseas RWE Dea subsidiaries a possibility?
For this please directly contact our international subsidiaries

Is an internship on Mittelplate Drilling and Production Island a possibility?
No. This is due to the comprehensive safety instruction required for longer term presence on the Drilling and Production Island.

What requirements should be met for direct entry into RWE Dea?
Initial experience in the area of crude oil and natural gas, e.g. through the selection of a focus during studies or within the scope of internships.

How should I apply for an internship at RWE Dea?
