RWE AG

RWE AG operates as a lean Group Centre and is based in Essen. As the company's head office, it concentrates on Group-managing tasks. These include strategy, planning, controlling, financing, communications and the Group-wide development of top-level management. At present, the Group Centre employs 383 people (as at 31.12.2007). The Executive Board of RWE AG also forms the Group's Executive Board. The following pages provide more detailed information about RWE's Executive Board.

Location

Ever since its very beginning, i.e. for more than 110 years, RWE's head office has been located in Essen. The RWE Tower, the Group Centre's headquarters, was inaugurated in 1997 - in Essen by the Ruhr river. RWE is deeply rooted in the region - a commitment we hold up through various regional projects that enjoy RWE's support.
