Mature concepts for logistics excellence

The erection of offshore wind turbines is a logistical challenge requiring mature concepts. We are breaking new ground here with Innogy's own company for offshore logistics. Since mid-2010, RWE's Offshore Logistics Company, OLC for short, has provided all the logistics for RWE Innogy's offshore wind projects, and has been operating the port facilities designed for the erection of offshore wind power plants. Moreover, the company manages two special-purpose installation vessels.

An area of some 17 hectares at Bremerhaven serves as offshore base port for the erection of the Nordsee Ost wind farm.
