Chris Pilgrim

Chris Pilgrim was appointed HR Director for RWE npower on 2 November 2009.

Chris started his career in the multi-national industrial environments of British Steel and Exxon Mobil, where he became Global Leader for Resourcing and Development of Infineum, a Joint Venture set up between Exxon Mobil and Shell.

In 2003 he joined Numico, a food manufacturing organisation, as HR Director for UK, Ireland and the Nordics. In 2006, prior to joining RWE npower, Chris led the HR function at Uniq, a European food manufacturing organisation with businesses in the UK and mainland Europe. Within these roles, Chris developed people strategies to support the business through periods of organisational change, as well as improving HR processes, particularly in the areas of reward, performance management and management development.
