Georg Petrich

Georg Petrich is a business engineer and has worked in various positions at RWE since 1978. Among other things, he was in charge of the accounting at RWE Power. After the merger of RWE Power and RWE Rheinbraun, he headed up the materials management and operating services units of RWE Power. His tasks included major project purchasing, procurement of Power-specific product groups, materials warehouse management and transport logistics and infrastructure services.

Dr. Ulrich Piepel

Ulrich Piepel holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering and has been Head of Corporate Procurement at RWE since 2003. In 2008, the German Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik) appointed him to its Executive Board. Ulrich Piepel studied in Dortmund and wrote his doctorate thesis in the area of robotics. Among other things, his work took him to the USA again and again over a number of years. Immediately before joining RWE, he was Managing Director of Maxdata Systeme GmbH.
