Evolving from RWE Systems AG, RWE Service GmbH took up its work as an internal service provider within the RWE Group in October 2008. With around 1700 employees at some 30 sites, the company supports the Group companies in the following service areas:
- Corporate Procurement
- Accounting Logistics
- Real Estate
- HR Services
- Infrastructure Services
- Security Services
- Data Protection
To mention only a few figures in that context, RWE Service handles around a million payroll and pension statements and, with over 30,000 participant-days per year, organises the training & development for the RWE Group. Corporate Procurement involves the strategic coordination and procurement of goods & services for the Group with a value of around EUR 6 billion per annum. Group Accounting Logistics is responsible for a payables accounting and posting volume of EUR 5.5 billion.
