Corporate Procurement at RWE Service controls and bundles all procurement tasks for the RWE Group on behalf of RWE AG except for primary energy and electricity. We control a procurement volume of around EUR 6 billion every year; of that we handle three billion on a direct operational basis.

Our “Shopping Basket” contains all materials and services typically needed in office organisations, industrial and services companies.

Beyond that, in cooperation with the procurement groups of the Group companies we also take care of specific needs in the energy supply business and work on a project basis with our customers’ engineers. Electronic catalogues are increasingly being used here, which permit our customers within the Group direct access to the full product ranges of very different suppliers.

Corporate Procurement is also in charge of master data management and procurement-related services. That includes event management and language services.
