HSE Coordinator

 

The candidate will plan, execute and follow-up the HSE management activities in the exploration drilling project and provide day-to-day management support on HSE related and regulatory issues.

 

Main tasks:

  • Develop, maintain and update HSE programs
  • Prepare applications to the government as required and verify documentation for the applications as required
  • Coordinate and report to the Authorities as required
  • Support Managers, as requested, including interaction with authorities
  • Provide weekly/monthly written reports as required
  • Develop and maintain company policies, processes and procedures at appropriate level
  • Facilitating management system development, implementation and deployment
  • Execute annual HSE audits and project reviews
  • Perform risk analysis and facilitate HAZID/HAZOP processes
  • Oversee compliance to Risk Management guidelines
  • Plans, schedules and provides training for personnel and contractors on subjects related to HSE & quality
  • Initiate Ergonomic and Behavioral Safety programs, Accident investigation training, STOP program and safety meetings as required
  • Development Area Environmental Statement
  • Prepare and maintain emergency preparedness plans and participate in the emergency response organisation and activities


Qualifications:

  • Very good knowledge of Norwegian rules and regulations is required
  • Good professional qualifications
  • Excellent English and Norwegian written and oral skills
