Start of apprenticeship: 2019

After my graduation I joined RWEST and started my apprenticeship as industrial clerk just a month ago.

Already in the induction week we were warmly welcomed by our trainers. We got a lot of information about RWEST and its employees and quickly became familiar with the company.

What I can expect during my apprenticeship…

In my training at RWEST I expect a lot of variety, because I will be working in many departments of the company. This allows me to assess very well where my strengths lie and in which part of the company I can develop best. We also receive regular training from subject matter experts, which allows us to expand our knowledge again and again.

My first run-through station is currently at Human resource department. The integration into the well-rehearsed team was very fast. Also, I always have a contact person at my side for questions and problems, because every single employee is very open to questions and happy to help. The work here is a lot of fun, because my tasks are very varied and I do not feel like an apprentice who is only allowed to do the "little things", but is also part of important tasks in the department.

… and what my first experiences are

I have learned that mutual feedback plays a very important role and that it should be seen as a kind of gift. This is a part of RWEST I like very much, because a regular and reasonable feedback can show one's strengths as well as weaknesses and one can thereby develop positively both as a person and as a worker.

I really like working at RWEST and hope for a long and successful cooperation.
