RWE Renewables Australia (RWE) entered the Australian market in 2018 with the construction of the 249 MWac Limondale Solar Farm. RWE Renewables Australia is currently developing a portfolio of onshore and offshore wind, solar, and battery storage projects across Australia. Our local team of more than 40 employees is backed by the experience of RWE’s renewables experts across the European, North American and Asia-Pacific teams. The local team brings capability in development, construction, operations, commercial and trading from across the energy sector. As an owner operator RWE Renewables Australia is focused on building strong relationships with all stakeholders across our industry to accelerate the energy transition and also to provide long term and sustainable power generation. Our goal is to be a key driver of Australia’s energy transition and to have a positive contribution to the communities where operate.

RWE is now active in the Australian market through its Limondale Solar Farm, a two stage 249 MW large scale solar operation near Balranald in New South Wales. Additional wind, solar, and BESS projects are being actively developed and we are interested in talking to partners about these opportunities.
Our commercial team is actively seeking contracting opportunities for the output of our projects with various end users. We also realise that each customer’s requirements are different so we are ready to discuss your specific requirements.
