Our sponsorship activities are part of the integrative communication concept of RWE. They are closely associated with the goal of being successful as a company not simply in business terms but also in social and environmental terms.
Although RWE has an international mission, it is firmly established in its regions and it has grown with them. The individual regional companies have sufficient scope within the RWE sponsorship model to implement appropriate individual projects in their region.
For example, we have been the partner of the Folkwang Museum for more than ten years. Konzerthaus Dortmund and RWE Vertrieb AG also have a close partnership in which they work together to strengthen Dortmund as a cultural centre and put sophisticated music projects into practice. Furthermore, RWE is one of the partners of a cultural project in the Dortmund U Tower, a former brewery and warehouse skyscraper where RWE installed a function room with cinema facilities that can hold almost 200 people.
