Waste gas treatment

Activated Lignite HOK – the low-cost adsorbent and catalyst for use in environmental technology. Thanks especially to the large specific surface area, favourable pore radii distribution and catalytic properties, Activated Lignite HOK has the capacity for retention of a large number of pollutants.

Water treatment

Activated Lignite HOK is produced from Rhenish lignite by activation in a rotary hearth furnace, which has given the product its name, viz. HOK. Production, distributionand logistics are based on a consistently implementedquality system in compliance with DIN-ISO 9001.

What is HOK about?

Activated Lignite HOK is produced on the basis of Rhenish lignite in the so-called rotary hearth furnace process. The special properties of Rhenish lignite, coupled with the activation conditions in the rotary hearth furnace, yield Activated Lignite HOK which has been used for many years as low-cost adsorption and filter agent in the most varied of applications in waste gas and effluent treatment.
