RWE supports events in the region in order to increase the range of leisure activities on offer. We are the main sponsor of the indeland triathlon. Every year, the triathlon attracts almost 2,000 athletes and numerous visitors to the indeland countryside.

RWE sponsors clubs in the region that focus on promoting young talent. The Manheim Karting Club has developed a concept for promoting young talent in the Bambini and Junior classes that is based on sustainability.

Shirt sponsorship
With the "RWE fulfils jersey dreams" project, we support sports clubs in purchasing jerseys for their youth teams. The teams come from the communities near our operating sites and play ball and team sports such as football, volleyball, basketball and handball. The promotion of youth teams is particularly important to us.
Cultivation of customs
The Rhineland region is characterised by strong cohesion and good neighbourly relations with RWE. The village communities are characterised by joie de vivre and traditions: cherished customs are cultivated. RWE supports this by sponsoring local associations and their festivals.
